Mooring System (SPM)
PT Lintech Duta Pratama is an experienced provider of fabrication services for marine work, shipbuilding and ship repair, and for offshore and onshore structures and modules. For Single Point Mooring we cover the full lifecycle — inspection, maintenance, engineering, new build, repair and refurbishment — combining pipe and pipe-spool fabrication with heavy structural steel work.
Each SPM is project-designed and custom built. Our system can be designed to moor tankers of a nominal 350,000 DWT, with larger tankers arranged on request, and is analysed for both the operational condition (tanker moored, with significant wave height and wind speed) and the survival condition (buoy only). The complete buoy structure is verified by frame analysis and finite element methods (FEA), resolving member stresses, secondary stresses, carry-over moments and three-dimensional load effects before fabrication begins.
Continuous research and the latest CAD/CAE technology keep our mooring systems cost-effective and safe. Every system is custom built under rigorous quality assurance conforming to BKI (Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia) and international classification standards.
System components & services
As a total-system provider we engineer, fabricate and supply the complete mooring package tailored to each location:
- CALM buoy structure & three-roller slewing (turntable) bearing — raceway-hardened for high durability, with refurbishment or bearing replacement
- Pipeline End Manifold (PLEM) & submerged pipeline
- Marine Breakaway Coupling (MBC), floating & under-buoy / submarine hoses, buoyancy floats, surge protector
- Mooring hawsers, pick-up & messenger ropes, chafe chains, shackles & associated fittings
- CALM buoy bridle, anchors and anchor / mooring chain
- General Arrangement (GA) and P&ID engineering, plus SPM mooring & tension analysis
